ACTA Summit

ACTA launch and 2014 Summit

15 May 2014

The Australian Clinical Trials Alliance (ACTA) was officially launched by Professor Chris Brook PSM at the National Summit of Clinical Trials Networks in Melbourne held in March this year. The CTC was proud to be involved as one of 95 different organisations represented, that support the conduct of public-good clinical trials within the Australian health system.

CTC Director, John Simes, and Deputy Director, Tony Keech, are part of ACTA's founding Directors. ACTA's mission is to promote effective and cost‐effective healthcare in Australia through investigator‐initiated clinical trials that generate evidence to support decision making by health practitioners, policy‐makers, and consumers.
