The Clinical Trials Centre offers expertise and internet-based data management systems for conducting clinical trials that contribute to the public good.

A national resource providing CTC collaboration on internet-based, investigator-initiated trials in areas of need

The purpose of the service is to ensure the highest quality of clinical trials research in new and high-priority health areas at institutions in Australia that may not have adequate support from existing collaborations or funding bodies.
Areas that can be supported include:
• clinical practice
• surgery
• new technologies
• palliative and supportive care
• complementary medicine.

This facility has been established at the NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre, University of Sydney, with funding from the Australian Government through a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Enabling Grant.
