Rachael Morton: gender equity and diversity

Gender equity and diversity at CTC

CTC is proud to have Associate Professor Rachael Morton promoting gender equity and diversity, with her recent success as an invited representative on the University's Science in Australia Gender Equity (SAGE) self-assessment team.

SAGE is a 32-university initiative designed to improve equity for women in the science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine disciplines (STEMM). In her role at the Nuffield Department of Population Health in Oxford, Associate Professor Morton was part of the team that received an Athena SWAN Silver Award.

On 10 August she will attend an Athena SWAN training workshop run by the Academy of Science. The focus will be on identifying key gender equity and diversity issues from quantitative data collection across university departments. We look forward to keeping you updated on SAGE activities.
