PERINATAL TRIALS REPORT PT0540 Twin birth study
Plain Language Summary: To conduct a multicentred international randomised controlled trial comparing planned vaginal delivery for twins, when twin A is cephalic and 32-38 weeks gestation, to planned caesarean section.

Expected accrual period: 4.5 years
Trial Objective: Primary research question- For twin pregnancies and 32-38 weeks gestation where twin A is presenting cephalic, does a policy of planned caesarean section decrease the likelihood of perinatal or neonatal mortality or serious neonatal morbidity compared to a policy of planned vaginal birth.
